I'm installing a V3-2000 pci in my sister's HP Pavillion 6636. The HP website says there's a jumper to change to disable the on-board video, but I only see two jumpers, and neither one is labelled 'VGAEN' as the page describes. HP Site

Has anyone successfully disabled the on-board video for this system? I guess I could probably disable it in Device Manager, but I'd rather it not be a factor at all.

And besides, the pic on the HP site is horrible! (it's the middle of the three that applies to this system)

Thanks.

I don't know how to disable it, but you don't have to. You should be able to run 2 video cards. Just install a PCI in there and you should be set. If you want to know how to disable the video, I would check the BIOS too. Very often you can disable it in the CMOS settings... If there are only 2 jumpers, look for one near the back of the motherboard where the video bus is...the video bus will usually be labeled from the manufacturer of the chip...just read the chips-
