I've had this kb for a while now and it really piss me off, that every time you press ALT + F4 (for example) you have to make sure the F-Lock is on....is ther anyway to make this kb function liek a standard kb, because i am not using all that multimedia junk anyway thanks :D

Good question why K-Lock isnt always on defualt is rather dumb I got this keyboard for its rounder looks and soft touch keys but I have to agree that the F-Lock key often makes me say the F*&^ Word.

I emailed Logitech about this already. They said that if your mobo doesn't have the setting to make it always on, you're SOL. Possibly a new software update would correct it also.

The MS Multimedia KBs are like this too... I hate having to turn on Fn-Lock everytime I restart the computer.

Thanks for the heads-up, guys... I'll stick with my old keyboard for a little while longer.

Who decided that it was necessary to relocate keys, BTW? I don't like the fact that Alt-F4 is not "Close window" anymore.

If you don't use any of that multimedia junk, just uninstall iTouch. That might solve the problem.

I've found a solution to my problems with the Fn-Lock. (It's actually what BOBBY RIBS said, I missed it :()

Just enable keyboard power-on in your BIOS. That way, there'll always be power to your keyboard so that the Fn-Lock stays on and doesn't disappear when you restart or shut down.
