I have two hard drives on my Promise Ultra 66.
On the Promise my IBM boots as UDMA 4 and the Quantum boots as UDMA 2. But with the Promise there is no checkbox in the System Information in Windows 98. I am assuming it has something to do with the firmware of the Promise since it's seen as a SCSI device.
However, I want to try turning OFF DMA support for my older Quantum, since at the fastest overclocked speeds, it has problems. My IBM is fine. The Quantum only holds MP3 so speed isn't a big issue.
