you get a machine, you spend weeks/months./years tweaking the heck out of it and banishing annoying niggles.
You get a new one and forget how you did most things!
Anyway:
Okay I know the easiest way would be to simply disable the fdd from bios [I have disable bootup floopy seek], but I do occasionally use it! I have already disable bootup floppy seek.
The check of the fdd on log-on from the Welcome screen in XP Pro SP2 with Nod32 v2.7 is a little annoying. I have already disabled the scan on shutdown but wonder if there is a way to stop this auto search on log-on [but still retain auto-search when floppy is entered into drive or access]??
