How to disable 16bit emulator?

Does anyone have an idea how to disable the 16bit emulator?

Go to Device manager, click on SB16 emulation then properties and then check the box that say "Disable hardware in this hardware profile" also uncheck the box that says "Exists in all hardware profiles".

Now close out the window and reboot.

You can also REM out the line
C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\SBLIVE\DOSDRV\SBEINIT.COM
from your autoexec.bat file for faster boots, since that is the file that loads the emulation.

gimps, FYI rem'ing out that line in the autoexec.bat will only get you half way there. You need to go into Device Mgr., as GCS said. If you do that, then the line in your autoexec.bat will automaticallay be rem'ed out.
