Okay, so my current computer is running Windows 7 Professional (x64), installed to my C drive. Previously, I had it set up so that WinXP Pro was installed on C, and then I had installed the Windows 7 RC1 on a separate drive, drive E. This was set up as a dual boot.
I'm sure I made a mistake somewhere, probably in a fit of laziness I just killed the dual boot screen (probably following some online tutorial) instead of actually uninstalling windows 7. The "Windows", "Program Files", and "Program Files (x86)" directories still exist on drive E, and try as I might, I cannot delete them. Even administrator privileges won't do the trick. There's a lot of stuff on the E drive that I don't have the space to back up at the moment, so formatting isn't an option, but I would sort of like that space back - all told, these directories harbor some 12GB of data.
Any way to make this happen?
