How to default XP asking for XP CD to a specific directory instead of the CD Rom? I have done before thru REGEDIT (I think), but I don't remember? Can anyone enlight me?
Copy the contents of the winxp dir to a folder on your hard drive. (OEM's use something similar to c:\windows\options\cabs)
Run regedit
Change HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Setup\SourcePath to point to the path that you put the winxp (IE: c:\windows\options\cabs\winxp)
