how to deal with trouble making neighbor and kids?

ok my neighbor has trouble maker boy. for some reason he like to do things to my car like throw balls at them and throw eggs at them.

ok well recently he threw butter on my old honda. ya it is old car but still it is my car. i have two nicer cars and im worry about him doing thing to them.

i talk to his mother and she dont do nothing. only punish him for like 10 min??? she pretend to get mad but she is not mad. i hate her...

I WANT TO PUNCH THE BOY IN THE FACE but he is younger than 10.

it was obvious it was the boy because butter tracks they went to his house! not surprising....

i have a video camera but no vcr. i need to start recording again. helped a lot!!!

Have the cops talk to him about vandalizing your personal property.

If it doesn't stop, sue the parents. Or alternatively, drop a steel beam on their car.

Although I can be a cranky SOB, I really liked the idea of being nice to them in that link I posted. The guy stated buy some soda and popsicles and YOU appologize for being cranky (I know, I HATE that part, esp. when they are the pricks, although in your case it might not be needed, but it wont hurt). On the hot days give em some popsicles or sodas and be super nice to him. IF that doesn't work, then you sir are the better man for trying and release hell on their ass. Yes, also record them w/o them knowing it just in case you have to use it for free car washes ^.^

im always nice to him. i tell him hello and i engage in conversation with him. but he hate my cars??

it take a lot for me to get mad. but now im getting real mad!

Could scare them. If a talk doesn't work, press charges....if they don't let you against the kids then press charges against the parents.

Get an estimate for repair and file a case against them in small claims court. In some states, their spouse are considered legally the same, so you have to name John Doe and spouse.

This should encourage them to settle with you and give them a message you mean business.

They make usb cctv input devices. I don't know how good they work or much hard drive space they use though. They're around $30 on ebay.

If you have the means, pick up a small surveilance camera. I think they're pretty cheap these days.
