How to cut plastic duct?

Anyone have any ideas on how to cut a plastic duct that leads from the back of the case right over the HSF (90 gradual curve). I've got about a 3mm clearance betwen the duct and the 60mm X 10mm HSF and I'd really like to goto an 80mm L1A, with the mod mentioned previously with an 80mm fan grill. To do it I have to figure out a good way to cut this chunk of plastic off. Thought I'd ask before I started searching throughout google if anyone has had any experience with it. I'll post my findings later on if noone else has experience either.

I have heard that alot of folks use the dremmel tool to cut both plastic and Alum. Could possibly also use a jigsaw I suppose if you were careful
