
The Macbook comes with a variety of nifty features that can help ease your tasks. One of them is the ability to set printer presets such as color presets and black and white presets. You can set up to four different presets for your printing purposes in a Mac OS. With the help of these presets you can quickly print the various types of documents that are required for your profession.
Follow the steps below to create your own presets on the Mac OS.
Step 1
Open the 'Printer Dialog Box'
Open the printer dialog box using the shortcut ‘Command + P’. You can also find it in the settings menu located in the bottom bar.

Step 2
Select your 'Printer' and Find Details
Select the 'Name of your Printer' that is connected to your PC and click on the show details button.

Step 3
Set ‘Default Settings’
Click on the drop-down option titled presets and choose ‘Default Settings’.

Step 4
Find ‘Printer Features’
Select the drop down option below it and choose ‘Printer Features’.

Step 5
Set ‘Printer Features’
Now select the features you want to add to this particular preset. You have the option of selecting features such as resolution, image smoothening, color, etc.

Step 6
Save your Preset
Go back to the presets drop down menu at the top of the dialog box and select the option ‘save current setting as preset’. You will be asked to provide a name for the preset.

Now you will be able to easily use this preset by clicking on the preset bar and clicking on the name of the preset. Create multiple presets to help save time if you have a lot of printing work to get done.
