I hope this hasn't already been posted but my search function isn't working right now, and I also hope that this is in the proper forum section.
I mentioned in an earlier post about a school project that I'm doing for a non-profit organization. The person in charge would like for me, if possible, to create or begin creating an intranet where teachers could have a chat room, upload documents, post ideas, share files, blog, allow administrative staff to post messages, and possible have widgets such as google calendar and weather. Can this be done using Wordpress since he is already using it for another section of his website? Is there a better option? Can this be done for free or are there things that would need to be bought? Does anyone have any links or resources that would help me do this?
