ok here is the situation :)

many times ive used nortons ghost to create an image of a hard drive...

but, im looking for some software that can do it from inside windows

the reason i need to be able to do it from inside windows is cause the current pc im wanting to clone has a scsi cdrw and i cant find any dos drivers for the scsi host adapter (and without dos drivers nortons ghost is a no go)

Does the software that came with the drive(Utilities, etc.) have a disaster recovery function? If it does you could probably use it to create a set of recovery(backup) CD's. I understand that it may not be feasible depending on the amount of data that is on the HDD.

Have you tried this CD boot disk? --> bootdisk.exe
Link is from this site... Creating Bootable CD the bootdisk.exe has a nice variety of CD drivers...
