I have a bin file and wanted a corresponding cue file. I created the cue file with the appropriate info ("filename" binary in the first line, track...etc in the second) but i used notepad to create it. Therefore, when i go to properties it says it's a text file not a cue file. It also is not being recognized by daemon tools. Can anybody offer a suggestion on how to properly create the cue file?

When i try to burn onto a cd, the file it looks for is the cue file. If i try to burn the bin file only using normal burning method, it says the file won't fit.

Make sure to save the file as .cue and not .txt. If you have file extensions turned off, the file may actually be named file.cue.txt.
