how to create a boot disk in XP?

Place diskette in the computer.

Open My Computer and right click the A: drive and click Format.

In the Format window check Create an MS-DOS startup disk.

Click Start
 
thx for the instructions.... it amazes me that i totally didnt see the checkbox for the startup disk and yet i had tried formatting the disk like 10 times to see if i could make a startup disk from there... im blind, i guess! LOL
