how to copy videos to ipod without using itunes??

i realized last night that you cant just copy & paste converted videos onto the ipod.. it has to be the right folder etc... i use MediaMonkey to synchronize my mp3 library and i dont see any need for installing itunes + quicktime on my comp.... is there a way to get around this and copy videos directly to ipod?

Not sure on video, but a bit of googling should turn up a wealth of 3rd party software to do the job.
