how to copy specific chapters from a dvd

I have a music dvd that contains multiple songs in one big movie stream, but only want to copy certain songs (chapters) from the disc. What is an easy way to do this? I already looked through http://www.videohelp.com/ , but couldn't find any guides specifc to this task.

When you encode with Divx, it puts a key frame on most scene changes. Then you can go in with VirtualDub and cut away the unwanted parts. It shouldn't be that hard if Divx put key frames at the start of the video you are wanting.

You could use DVDDecrypter to de-mux the different chapters or you could use DVD2AVI to dump the entire audio stream to .WAV. Then you could use an audio editor to cut out the clips you wanted.

DVDShrink will allow you to do so... you just reauthor it in DVD Shrink... copy over the main title, then click the set end/start frames button... select the chapter you want.... then rinse and repeat for each other chapter you want. I used this to make a demo disc with scenes from like 15 different movies.
