How to copy cd-roms for backup

I always like to back up my games as soon as I buy them because I am such a lazy sloppy bastard and I never put the discs back in the cases when I am finished. I usually just stack them on top of each other. Anyway, lately I cant backup my discs because of that stupid BAD sector copy protection that the companies put on the discs now. I know people have broken this scheme. How does one copy these kinds of discs?

Well, clone cd made the image but doesnt support my antiquated philips cdr at work. I'll try it on my cdr at home. Thanks for the tip.
