What are the means to cool down the HDD..
I'm in for a market for IBM 75GPX 20 or 30 GB one. Only one HDD and one DVD Rom will be installed in the system.
I'm bit worried to buy any 7200RPM drives because of heat.
Is there some kind of cheap heatsink for a HDD ???
(I don't wanna use fan.. due to noise issue)
Do I at all need a cooling for it??

You worry too much😉 With /decent/ case ventilation, modern drives have no problem with heat.

Someone cut a hole under the drive cage and mounted a 60mm fan lying around...it brought the HD temp to the same temp inside the case...i don't think it can get cooler than that.
