How to convert .cda files into .wav files

I didn't really see an area for audio type discussion...so I put my question in here.

I have some .cda audio files that I need to convert into standard .wav files and all the programs I normally use for my audio stuff will not handle this.

How do I convert these files?

Are the files still on the CD? If so, get a ripper.
If you just copied the files to the hard drive...well, how big are they? Because just using copy-and-paste in Explorer doesn't actually copy the audio data.

Crazy double post. I did only click once, grand total, but then the connection to Anandtech just died for almost 2 minutes. No idea why it got here twice.
