How to connect to Newsbin Pro using COMCAST??

How do i connecto to newsbin pro using Comcast cable modem.
I typed in my cerver as news.comcast.giganews.com and my user/pw but can connect?
I hit different newgroup-s and it keeps say server connection failed at the botteom
An example: I keep getting status msgs like this

12/22/2002 18:27:04 PROTOCOL=Engine Process, SERVER=news.comcast.giganews.com, MSG=Unspecified Network Error

The name and password used for accessing Giganews, is different from the name and password used to access your Comcast e-mail account.
Did you first set up an account with Giganews?
Once that is done, they'll e-mail your account name and password, as well as the correct server address.
Their e-mail address is: comcast-support@giganews.com
