How to connect: linksys router to act as a wireless switch

In the main room I have:
DSL model going into a wrt54gs linksys.

In the living room I have a xbox360, ps3, ps2 which I want to connect to the net but don't want to buy individual cards. The ps3 already connects, but not stable enough.

I have an wrt54g which I'd like to convert it to a wireless switch to act as an extension of the main router.

How do I do that?
