how to connect dvi/hdmi graphics card to infocus x1 projector's vga/component port?

the infocus x1 projector (has vga, component inputs) and my desktop's video card only has dvi / hdmi port)... what is the best (economically speaking) way to do it?

check if your video card outputs analog signal through the DVI ports ... that would be cheapest (requiring a simple cable pinhead converter)

aka the dongle you see in the picture... your DVI port needs to have DVI-A/DVI-I, those extra 4 pins around the minus sign
