hi there
i've just moved home to my parents house for the summer before i start grad school. The set here is in the downstairs computer room there is a linksys cisco WRT54G2 V1 wireless router.
Upstairs there is a room where my little brother keeps his gaming pc, connected via wire to the router (cable i installed way before wireless was the norm back when i was a teen). That room has a couch so i want to set up my xbox 360 and tv in there. I dont have a wireless adaptor for the xbox, however, and the are quite expensive.
is there a way to by some cheap assessory that will allow me to split that connection off in the upstairs room so i can plug 2 devices into it? old routers used to have the uplink port which i believe could be used for this, but neither the current router or the belkin one i brought from my old house have this?
any ideas? i want to spend little money!
thank you
