So you want to power the led's from the ac wall socket ?
You need a 12vdc wall adapter + some molex connectors.
I don't know of any adapters sold that way so you would need to make your own.
Buy any 12vdc wall adapter, current can be really low since its just leds, 200ma would probably be overkill.

Then buy some molex connectors or cut up an old drive connector.
If it were me and thats all I were going to use the adapter for, I would probably just cut the wires that come from the leds and wire it straight to the wall adapter.

There are two options. splice the LED array directly into the output line of the DC inverter or splice a male molex connector to the output line of the DC inverter and then plug the female moex connector into it, or visa-versa on the male female, will work either way.

You need one of the connectors that would match the leds connector.
An old pc power supply would work as it has the matching connectors, otherwise you would need to buy one of the connectors.

When I said 12Vdc wall adapter I mean a transformer that would plug into the wall and convert the 120VAC to 12VDC. You can't just connect the leds to the wall socket. You have to convert the voltages first.

something like this would work fine:
http://www.allelectronics.com/...WALL_TRANSFORMER_.html

You would need to cut off the plug on the end of the transformer and use a matching connector to your led's, or as I said, cut off the plug on the transformer and the plugs off the leds and wire it together.

You could get this one:
http://www.bgmicro.com/index.a...=VIEWPROD&ProdID=10735 and cut and solder a Molex onto the wires or make an adapter so you don't have to cut the PS's cable.

Or this which already has Molex on it - these come with those cable kits for adapting PATA and SATA hard drives to USB2 - so if you need one of those for your tech kit, then kill two birds plus you wont have to have or get a power cord for it... Lots more of these on fleaBay, so you don't have to order from HK.

I also got one of those PCI slot plates with two 3-pin fan connectors, one Molex 4-pin, and one SATA connector on it from either jab-tech.com or svc.com.
