I am building an intranet system
I have 3 machines.
1) Machine A: win 2k advanced server
2) Machiine B: win 2k server
3) win 98 workstation
Machine A is to be the domain in which i am going to put IIS (web server) and hbost my site here
Machine B where i am going to put my database
win 98 workstaion for users.
Problem: I set up machine A win 2k advanced server as my domain but i cannot connect my win 2 k server to be the member server.
Is this the way to go with the settings or should i just put the database server on a win 2k pro machine ?
When i go to the computer and specific the domain name, the computer said it cannot contact or see the domain !
I need help on how to set up a domain server and a member server or whtever (as long as i can retrieve the database using the domain).
I also assume the win 98 workstation can be connected to the whole thing ?
