How to connect 2 PCs in my home?

I have two PCs.
I would like to connect them.
I don´t understand nothing about it.
Which is the best way to do it?
I have Win XP home Edition.
Is it easy to share internet?
If this is nothing an important topic to answer, please could you tell me where I can find this information!

Thanks

The cheap and easy way will be using a crossover cable. Just plug the crossover cable into each computers lancard port. If you got a broadband connection then one of the computers will need two lancards. Since the 2nd one will be used for the connection it self. Then you will just use ICS. Which stands for Internet Connection Sharing if you dont know.

All though the best way will be get a router. You can get nice routers at a very good price. Below is a link that just might help you to learn a little about networking.
