New build is in sig - at least how I pictured it.
Here is what I did from scratch:
1)Verified SSD had current firmware (O2HD)
2)Set BIOS storage setting to AHCI
3)Fresh install of Win7 64
4)ASUS Drivers install
5)ATI Drivers install
6)TRY to set up RAID1 w/ 2x2TB Hitachi Deskstars
6a) Use Intel Matrix Storage Console - Shows drives, but does not give any RAID options in advance view.
6b) Switch BIOS storage setting to RAID - RAID Configured with BIOS utility, selected drives, created array, but now SSD Fails to show as boot option.
7)Updated any and all drivers I could find, but still no luck.
Any HELP is much appreciated, I'm really stuck here. Thus far, it looks as if I cannot have both a SSD drive in AHCI and set up a RAID1 with other drives.
