first off, make sure it's still located on your computer, shut down all your writable shares and shut down your ftp/web service if installed/configured.

Then, run the fix from safe mode :p

why don't you try using an anti-virus program to do the job instead of using norton utilities. or just download the removal tools specific to nimda. you can get them from any antivirus site, like central command, etc. you can have it scan all your drives and remove the infected files

Did you install the IIS security fixes on your system(s)? If not, you're probably getting reinfected.

you on a school network? i had netbios on so i could browse the network..... and had one of my folders shared (by default in xp.. didn't realize it). and the network kept dumping viruii there.. norton keep picking it up, asking me to kill it... i walked away for a minute, came back clicking almost 100 times to the messages...

so yeah, check your share settings and whatnot
