Hi all,

I have been experiencing some issues with my laptop's Nvidia GTX 960 M 4 GB clocks frequencies!

I have uninstalled the drivers with DDU,reinstalled the OS,uninstalled the GPU via Device Manager, but I still got issues with its clocks frequencies!

Please tell me how to tottaly reset the Nvidia GPU to the default!

Please!
Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!

There's honestly not much to it. Run DDU and follow the instructions. If you've done that, then you've done everything there is to do.:)

what issues do you have with the clocks?
what issues do you have with the clocks?

They started to change randomly!
A few days ago while I was gaming I noticed FPS drops, and suddenly looked at the OSD of the MSI Afterburner ,it showed randomly changing of the clocks frequencies!
Then after closing the game I saw that the clocks were stuck at 405 with 405 MHz at idle!
After restarting the PC,the clocks stuck at 1176 with 2505 MHz at idle!

I uninstalled the graphics drivers via DDU,reinstalled new,but it didn't help!

Then I reinstalled the OS 3 times, and after the 3rd installation the clocks were stable, but I noticed in the MSI Afterburner that when I open HWMonitor the GPU temp increases, and it decreases when I close it!

Yesterday I noticed the same ,when running GPU—Z!

Now when I open GPU-Z in the Sensors tab,the sensors don't show anything till I press the Refresh button of the GPU-Z!
When I press that button,it shows normal values!

Sounds like your GPU could be overheating and therefore it's down-clocking to reduce the thermal load. I'm assuming that's the problem, since you've stated that this happens when gaming and FPS drops.

if that's the case, you'll require more professional help... such as going internal to the laptop and cleaning the heatsink and fans from dust. since you're in there, a redo of the thermal paste too.
