How to combine 2.1 and 4.1 speakers into 6.2?

I have the 4.1 Z560's and the 2.1 EV SonicXS...I'm thinking about combining these together into a 6.2 system.

What do I need to do to configure the separate inputs into the soundcard (M-Audio Revolution)?

You're sound card won't decode signals to 6.2 surround sound. I guess you could, however, buy some splitters and get it all hooked up. I don't know exactly how each of these connects to your card, but if it's analog you should be able to split whichever channel you wish. The problem is, the two different brands of speakers are built with different frequency responses in mind. Therefore, it would probably sound worse than if you were to just have one or the other attached.

You can combine them but it won't be 6.2, it will be still 4.1 with more than one output per channel... remember 1 channel doesn't mean 1 satellite.. Best suggestion would be, as cRaidz suggested, get some splitters and split left and right rear satellites into 2 having 2 rear-center satellites... that would add some more environment feeling to your speakers.. and about the 2nd subwoofer.. don't split it... having 2 subwoofer wont make any differece so you can just sell it

I put the 4.1's 2 connectors for my front (L,R & Center), then used the other 2.1's for my Rear jack and it works fine. The back Sub does pound the lower frequencies

Hmm, I just checked the back of my receiver of my 5.1s and there is a Subwoofer line out.. Check yours, it might be helpful but I still don't recommend splitting cables of subwoofer
