Question How to clone multi-partitioned USB?

MotionMan

Lifer
My friend has a 32GB USB that he wants to duplicate. I have tried cloning it to an identical 32GB USB with Disk Utility (Restore), Carbon Coy Cloner, and SuperDuper, without success. I just can't get anything to recognize the USB as a single volume (with multiple partitions).

Any ideas?

If I remember right, CloneZilla could copy multi-partition drives (i.e. OSX + Windows + Linux). USB drives can be a little funny to work with sometimes tho. On the Windows side of things, EaseUS Todo Backup might be able to do it, but you should probably be able to do it with CloneZilla. Found an interesting thread here, if that doesn't work:

The user in post #7 created a BIN extract of his USB drive using ImageUSB:

Also, I haven't used it, but Stellar Clone Drive for OSX might be an option:

Also wassup man! LTNS. Been awhile since I've trolled the Apple forum, haha!
