Hi, You don't remove the jumper, you move it to the other two pins Takes only a few seconds to bleed the Capacitors in the circuit. Then put it back where it was. If you remove the battery to reset the BIOS Setup then leave it out a couple of hours to let the caps discharge. Power MUST be off for both methods. There are ways to speed up the process, but it's doubtful that pushing the power button will do anything at all. Hope this helps a little, Jim
