How to clean the surface of an LCD?

My son scribbled on the LCD with a ball-point pen.
Tried to clean with a wet cloth, but it's not working.
Alcohol will work?

damn....are you serious? that really sucks....i dunno about alcohol tho...
 
Well, I got mad, so just applied the alcohol to tissues and wiped it out.
Huh, it's clean now.
My son is 2 years old.
He just messes up everything he can touch.
Couple weeks ago, I had to reinstall my windows after his continuous playing with power button.:|
