How to clean scanner?

at title, the glass surface is not very clean, I want to make it as clean as possible, how?

I find it helps to use anti static paper as well as windex. Paper towels would always leave pieces of lint and such on the surface after I was done claening.

Oxy-Acetelene blowtorch. With it's 2,500F flame, it's guaranteed to remove any and all unwanted stains, markings and/or body parts from you scanners' platen.

I have that

i use it from time to time on my CRT but it seems to leave a smear 🙁

it goes away after awhile tho
