How to clean MS Intellimouse Explorer wheel?

I have noticed my wheel has gotten sluggish and I think its full of dust and other crud that is slowing it down.

My question is, how do I open my mouse to clean the wheel parts?

Awesome thanks. Cleaned it right up. Had tons of cat fur and crud in it. It is smooth as it was when I got it now.
