My LCD on Laptop is kinda dirty with dust, finger prints, and etc...

I tryed water+tissue, but it didnt go very well.

Do you guys know how to clean? how to protect LCD part?

Heisenberg's recommendation isn't bad. I started buying LCD cleaning pads a while back, and now I use those. They're basically just handi-wipes that are guaranteed not to hurt the coating of your screen.

pure rubbing alcohol and a brillo pad.

Or else you could just use glass cleaner and an old cotton tshirt. Thats what I use.

I've heard flannel and water works the best. I've used a water/rubbing alcohol mix on CRTs, which works great. I've heard glass cleaners aren't so good for monitors, streaky for one, takes the antiglare finish off too...I don't know if that's true or not, but eh, I figure the less chemicals the better.
