how to clean epoxy

HI guys ,
can someone tell me wat is the best way to unplug the cooling fan with epoxy from videocard ?And wat is the best way to clean away the epoxy? thanks !!!

That is really lousy advice ping. Use nail polish remover, carb cleaner, or bug and tar remover. Do not use any oil based products, and do not use a razor (very easily to scratch the surface)

Alcohol will work but it might take a little time. Acetone will will better and you can clean it up afterwards with alcohol.

rubbing achohol works good, though if you can scrape it off with a razor it's better

I tried alcohol on my Visiontek Ti200's ram chip. That thing would not budge. It's hard as a cement, it looked like a harden silicon glue. try to keep the blade parallel to the surface as much as possible. i guess i don't have to tell that.

I had to soak the part of the card with the epoxy in a thin pan with alcohol. Simply soaking the Epoxy didnt
work, the Alchol evaperated to fast, I was using 99.9% pure IPA though.
