How to clean coffeemaker?

Can somebody here tell me the procedure for using white vinegar to clean an automatic coffeeemaker? Thanks in advance.

Fill it with four cups of vineger. Hit the clean button. Run full pot of water after.

replace water with vinegar and dont put in coffee and brew
caution: do not drink result
