How to clean a mouse pad?

I don't see why not. They're usually either just plastic with foam underneath or a big pad of foam-like material.

It'll probably disintegrate on contact with detergent.

I solved the wear problem with an optical mouse.

That and I use a 'hard' type mouse pad (favorites with gamers these days), which can be cleaned easily.

Yeah, if there is plastic on top go ahead or if its mostly foam. If its leather, don't!

Ever tried a ratpadz?

Nah. I just want something smooth and clean for my mouse. I added some pics.

OK, I don't see too much trouble cleaning it with soap and water. That shouldn't be a big deal I imagine. If it falls apart, how expensive can a new mousepad be anyway?

Financial value is pretty low.... but sentimental value is through the roof!!!!
