How to check temp on Vid Card

I have an Elsa Gladiac GTS and was wonderin if someone could tell me how do you guys check the temps on these sort of cards?
Is there a software program out there that will do it? or do you have to use some sort of thermal probe?
I know I'm not running too hot cause i got the fan working on the card and a big delta fan right next to it ina mini tower case 🙂 but still liek to know where i stand temp wise.
 
Unless the card had a thermosistor soldered onto it, there's no way of checking the temp....other than externally.
