i'm trying to trade a pair of u2 tickets for a different day with someone off of craigslist. ive bought and sold off there before, but seeing as how u2 tickets have been in such high demand, i'm being a bit more cautious/warry.
i've noticed that if the ticket is held up to the light, the ticket color is a bluegreen rather than white. also ticketmaster says they use a thermal print process, so if the ticket is exposed to high heat it turns black (though permanently, i tried it on one of my old stubs), but i cant check using this method since it renders the ticket useless.
does anyone know of any security features that are used in ticketmaster tickets to check authenticity? (or maybe the best advice in doing a direct trade such as this)
thanks.
