How to check a laptop configuration using its service tag?

Title says it all. I am curious about how to find out the configuration information of a laptop using the service tag of the laptop.

Any help would be appreciated. Please provide me a link if you know one, on the dell's website.

All specs are listed on the Laptop. If not; post on the forums asking the specs from someone who owns the same model.

Sign up for & log into Dell's support page (http://support.dell.com/). Click the "My Systems & Peripherals" link near the top. The rest should be self-explanatory 🙂


EDIT: I'm guessing you don't have the laptop in front of you. If you do, stop being lazy, turn it on, and get the info you need.
