How to change Windows XP boot logo

Hey guys.

I tried doing it the way that a guide at www.getskinned.com suggested and I get a blue screen when I boot up. I KNOW that I didn't change anything but the image of the bootscreen.

Anyone have a tested and true method or guide because I made a sweet boot logo with my RoninReaction logo and "Ronin" written in Japanese hiragana.

I tried one of the pre-made bootscreens (ATARI) and it worked fine. maybe the file you made is corrupted. have you tried one of the pre-made boot screens to see if it works?

Yeah. First time I did that, the "Professional" letters still showed up...THROUGH the graphics.
