How to change the fan in a La Cie Brick external HD?

After only 10 months this thing sounds like a dirt bike. I removed each of the four rubber feet and found no screws. Anyone popped this thing open before?

A lot of these things are snap-together clamshells, sometimes you pop the end covers off and the thing comes apart and other times you sort of have to slide a dinner knife into the seam and pop it open. If you could link to a pic I might be able to be more certain - lots of different lacies out there.
