How to change temp directory for 7-zip

Hi,

My C: is running out of space and 7-zip won't let me unzip a huge zip file. Where do I go to change the temp directory? I couldn't find it in the options.

maybe if you change the location of the windows temp dir, you will be ok then

if that doesn't work, then you could also use an NTFS junction to change the Temp dir location.
i recommend NTFSLink for this.

Isn't there a way to configure 7-zip to use another temp folder instead of changing my windows temp folder? Sure there must be a way!

use context menu in explorer to decompress to same dir? iknow my 7zip doesn't use c for temp file..

those suggestions would work fine, but you could also download the 7zip source code and modify it, of course, as the code is available.

under options plugins tab press 7-zip options folders tab change the working folder
