How to change refresh rate beyond 85 Hz ?

How to change refresh rate beyond 85 Hz ?
I just got a 19" and I can't go more than 85 Hz in winblows. But, the monitor can go up to 120 hz in 1024. How do I set this ?

Do you have the correct monitor type set? does your video crad allow you to do this? Are you using win2K?

Make sure you have the Monitor drivers installed... both the monitor drivers and video card drivers have to support it.

Don't obsess over it, 85 Hz is great. It is well over the "flicker-free" point.

I have a G400 max and a V95 from optiquest.
Well... it sais V95 in the windows monitor tab but I can boost the refresh rate manually in matrox control tab. Why can't windows set higher than 85 ?
