hey guys, i've tried a lot but not been able to find how to change my primary display to my 19" tft in nvidia control panel.. i've 9600 gt and have a 32" lcd connected thru hdmi and on the other the 19" tft.. so what do i do to make my tft as the primary display so that all the things are shown on it rather than on lcd i.e. right from booting up to getting into windows?

and i've already tried all the options in the 'change primary display' in nvidia control panel but still no good

In Win7, right click on the desktop and choose 'screen resolution'. Click on the display you want to be primary then click "Make this my main display".

AFAIK, you cannot choose the output used to display POST and boot-up info. The card may choose one particular output, or it may output to all connected displays.

I actually use two video cards. My 4830 discreet card driving my 19", and the onboard 3200 IGP driving the 15". In the bios I have the option to choose which card to boot with. I've selected the PCIe card so the POST info appears on that. It's no big deal using the 3200 IGP as I don't show anything "stressful" on it. However, I don't know if the OP has a IGP board so this may be irrelevant.
