How to change paypal bill

I am trying to buy something on ebay and it says use buy it now to get free shipping. so I click buy it now and immediate payment is required through paypal. When I try to pay it has the shipping in the total. Under the seller's instructions is says
"FOR BUY-IT-NOW CUSTOMERS: PLEASE REMOVE APPROPRIATE SHIPPING DISCOUNTS WHEN PAYING PAYPAL BILL THANK YOU."

I can't find a way to remove the shipping. I emailed the seller but I don't want someone to buy it before me. (hence I didn't include the item number)
 
Dunno with straight out buy it now, but when you finish an auction

you can edit the final shipping price as the buyer, and subtract as much as the total shipping cost... click around at the checkout-looking screen, should be an adjust button ro something
