First is how do you change mp3 id3 tags? Second, what software do you recommend to burn mp3s onto a cd to play on mp3 cd players? Question for anyone w/ riovolt sp250: do you need to burn music onto directories or can all music be in one directory? Does 700mb cd work or only 650mb? Thanks.

1) If you use WinAMP just double click on the title and you can edit the tag fields
2) I use Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4, pretty much because that's what came with my CD-RW. 🙂

Thanks. I tried changing one id3 and it said I can't because the file is readonly. Do I have to change the property of the file first?

A pain in the a## but changing file properties to remove readonly works. THis sucks because I have over a gig of mp3s. Any other way than clicking on each file to change it's properties? Also, still looking for help on riovolt.

Yeah dude, no problem. To change the Read-only file attribute on all of the files in a given directory, simply select them all, right-click and deselect the Read-only checkbox. If even one, out of all of the selected files has this attribute checked, it will show up.

Viola!

I have the PSX100 and a 700MB CD works with that, so I would imagine that the SP250 can play 700MB CDs as well. I just have all the MP3s on the CD...not in any folders. Hope this is the answer you're looking for.
