How to change cursor back to default?

Wife F'd her PC up with cursor mania. Now she wants to change Santa back to XP default. Tried usual way through Control Panel, Mouse etc, but still stuck with Santa, even after restart. She got the Santa cursor through Cursor Mania, which was FILLED with attached spyware, so she doesnt want to go back there.

can you just uninstall the theme or whatever gave you (her) the santa cursor?

You first need to remove Cursor Mania and run your spyware software of choice.

Second, reboot your computer, run the registry editor and delete the keys {00A6FAF6-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D}, {00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D}, {07B18EA1-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} from HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Third, open My Computer, Drive C, and Program Files folder, delete FunWebProducts and MyWebSearch folders. Cursor Mania should now be completely uninstalled from your computer.

Might I recommend using CursorXP to change your cursors. It's free, contains no spyware, and there are tons of themes available on Wincustomize.
